About Us
More than tech — it's independence, connection, and dignity.
We help people move from confusion and fear to confident, independent use of technology in real life.

The Digital Confidence Project
We meet people where they are.
At The Digital Confidence Project (DCP), we believe digital confidence is more than learning technology — it's about independence, connection, opportunity, and dignity in today's world.
Founded by Rolona D. Brown, a U.S. Army Major (Ret.), educator, and technology trainer, DCP was created to close the growing digital confidence gap affecting older adults, veterans, caregivers, and underserved communities.
Technology changes fast. Many people are expected to navigate smartphones, online banking, telehealth, email, video calls, passwords, AI tools, and digital services without ever being properly taught. DCP exists to change that.
What We Do
Practical learning that makes tech feel approachable
We don't teach over people's heads — we teach with patience, clarity, and encouragement.
Our Approach
A simple transformation
Through our signature 4-Pillar Framework, we help learners develop:
01
Mindset
"I can do this."
Overcoming fear and embracing a growth mindset around technology.
02
Skills
"I know how to use it."
Practical, step-by-step training that builds real competence.
03
Application
"I can use this in my life."
Connecting skills to everyday tasks — banking, healthcare, family.
04
Independence
"I don't need help anymore."
Confident, self-reliant use of technology for daily living.
We don't just teach apps. We teach confidence.
Who We Serve
The people we exist for
Our Mission
To empower individuals to confidently navigate today's digital world through practical education, hands-on training, and resilience-centered learning experiences.
Our Vision
A world where no one is left behind because of technology.
Meet the Team
The leaders behind the mission
